Cordero di Montezemolo

Fraz. Annunziata 67 La Morra CN | T. +39.0173.50344

History

The history of Tenuta Monfalletto, owned by one of the various branches of the Falletti family – the most important noble family around Alba, intertwined with that of Cordero di Montezemolo when Maria Lydia, the Marquise Luigia Falletti’s daughter, married Paolo Cordero di Montezemolo in 1918. The unlucky couple died prematurely after giving birth to their son, whose name was Paolo too. The latter, being orphan, grew up under the care of his maternal grandmother and later he inherited all her properties.

People

Today, Paolo’s work is continued by his son Giovanni, who is helped by his children – Elena and Alberto.
