Dosio Vigneti

Reg, Serradenari, 6 La Morra CN | T. +39 0173 50677

History

Founded in 1974 on a pre-existing farmhouse dating back to the mid-18th century, the Dosio Vigneti winery stands in the heart of the Langhe, on the highest point of La Morra, on the Serradenari hill: it is here that the highest Barolo of the entire denomination is born. 2010 marks an important year for the winery: the founders are replaced by new owners who, thanks to a wise restructuring, give the company a new look. Everything always respecting the traditions and the territory.

People

The current owners are supported by excellent staff in the cellar, in the vineyard and at reception.

Vineyards

The company has a vineyard surface of 35 hectares divided between Langhe and Monferrato. We vinify the autochthonous vines of the Piedmontese tradition (Nebbiolo, Arneis, Moscato, Barbera, Dolcetto, Freisa), as well as some international vines (Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling), obtaining a production of about 200 thousand bottles. The large structure, surrounded by its own vines, is located in an enchanting position: at five hundred metres above sea level, the view sweeps over the Cuneo and Turin plains, reaching as far as the splendid Maritime Alps and the Monte Rosa Massif.

Wines

Azienda Dosio produces the typical wines of the Langa, such as Barolo, Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto. Since its foundation, the winery also has a strong passion for international grape varieties, as evidenced by the vineyards of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc.
