Oddero Poderi e Cantine

Fraz. Santa Maria, 28 La Morra CN | T. +39 0173 50618

History

A study of parish and municipal documents shows that the Oddero family has been present in the La Morra area since at least the 18th century. The contemporary history of the company is inextricably linked to that of Giacomo Oddero, born in 1926, grandson of the first Giacomo of the family, from whom he inherited the name. It was under Giacomo's guidance that Poderi e Cantine Oddero took on its current production configuration, expanding the size of the vineyards, the number of bottles produced and upholding a quality policy that is now internationally recognised.

The estate is now run by their daughter Mariacristina, who joined the company in the late 1990s, and by their grandchildren Isabella and Pietro, who represent the seventh generation.
