History
The winery, founded in the 1970s, is located in the Alessandria hamlet of Santa Maria di La Morra. The historic wine cellar houses large barrels where prestigious crus are stored for aging and further refinement. The winery and the vineyards are run by Giovenale, a passionate and dedicated winemaker who inherited the property from his maternal grandmother.
People
Today, Giovenale, born in 1953, runs the company together with his sister Vittoria, while his other sister Rosanna looks after the hospitality side of the business.
Vineyards
Over the years, the farm has acquired additional land in the Asti area, arriving at the current total of 57 hectares under vine, of which about thirty hectares are planted with Nebbiolo, most of which is used for making Barolo.
Wines
The wide range of labels reflects the local tradition and is supported by modern techonology: a winning combination for Barolo that is old at heart but with a young body.
