History

The history of Giorgio Sandrone’s winery started in the ‘50s, when Giovanni and Livia, Giorgio’s parents, started to run part of the important “Parà” farmstead in La Morra. In 1968 Livia and Giovanni bought a farmstead, previously owned by Luigi Vergiati, and the Sandrone Giovanni farm was born. At the beginning they started by selling grapes, fruits and hazelnuts, in a second step they started to bottle some wine from their grapes.

People

Today the winery is led by Giorgio, Livia and Giovanni’s son. Since 2020 he has started to bottle Barolo del comune di La Morra and Langhe Nebbiolo. Overall Sandrone has 6,5 hectars of vineyards and 4 hectars of hazelnuts.

Vineyards

The Estate’s vineyards are located mainly in La Morra, in the MGA Rive and Capalot, and some are located In Verduno. Overall the Estate owns 6,5 hectars of vineyards and 4 of hazelnuts.

Wines

Currently the winery produces a Barolo del comune di La Morra and a Langhe Nebbiolo.
